The World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action (WABA) is a global network of individuals
& organisations concerned with the protection, promotion & support of breastfeeding worldwide.
WABA action is based on the Innocenti Declaration, the Ten Links for Nurturing the Future and the
Global Strategy for Infant & Young Child Feeding. WABA is in consultative status with UNICEF & an NGO
in Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations (ECOSOC).

You're right. Most of the time, mothers don't need to spend money on milk or bottles, 'cause they have the milk ready in their breasts.  But, there are lots of ads on the TV and in the magazines showing babies with bottles.so everybody thinks they need bottles when women get pregnants! 
 
 
I understand.  It's like when there is a new doll on TV.  I already have some at home, but I keep thinking that I need another one to play with. And besides, some dolls come with  bottles to convince kids from childhood on!!  

 
That's right!  You're really smart, Patty!  Adults make ads for toys, yogurt and cookies and we bother our parents a whole lot so that they buy these things for us. 
 

So, in the same way kids do, adults want to buy things because of the ads. Like my aunt, who saw the TV ads and thought my cousin would need the bottles too!! !
