The Lancet Breastfeeding Series is the first of its kind to evaluate global breastfeeding levels, trends and inequalities, in addition to the short- and long-term consequences for both mother and child, regardless of where they live or their income. This interactive launch event will highlight key findings as well as present success stories and opportunities to eliminate barriers to breastfeeding in high- and low-income countries. There will be live streaming of the launch of the papers by the Lancet on Friday.
