Advocate
WABA calls on Advocates to:
- Promote the development and implementation of comprehensive breastfeeding policies, especially the International Code of Marketing of Breastmilk Substitutes
- Promote the availability of supportive healthcare systems, communities and workplaces
- Work towards making breastfeeding the social norm
- Ensure that every mother and child is supported and empowered to breastfeed
- Make links between breastfeeding and other issues
