WABA calls on Donors to:
- Include breastfeeding as a thematic area in key investment strategies and policies
- Invest in effective programmes that protect, promote and support breastfeeding, especially at the national level
- Collaborate with like-minded donors to invest in breastfeeding programmes
- Support breastfeeding programmes that target the most vulnerable segments of society
- Work with governments, Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) and UN agencies to promote collaborative breastfeeding initiatives
