WABA calls on Employers to:

  • Develop parent-friendly workplace policies that promote and support breastfeeding
  • Provide time, space/proximity and support for breastfeeding workers
  • Promote positive attitudes and zero discrimination at the workplace
  • Implement social protection measures for all workers, including in the informal sector
  • Work with trade unionists and advocates to inform workers of their rights
