Sarvodaya Women's Movement, in order to generate public awareness and support for breast feeding, a series of events have been organized during the above week.

We are in complete accord with the view that "the educators are often unaware that breastfeeding gives a headstart in education by enhancing brain development" They also lack understanding of the role breast plays in the psychological development,environmental protection, household  economics and sociology.

On the lines of a series of publications produced by WABA targetted for different age groups, like colouring and comic books for children, as well as posters, Calenders, posters, action folders and banners, SWM has made arrangements to emplasis on these aspects of creating awareness among primery school and pre school teachers and comunity leaders in order to ensure that our message reaches all support groups in the country.
