Become a WABA Affiliate
WABA Affiliation
- The World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action (WABA) is a global network of individuals and organisations dedicated to the protection, promotion and support of breastfeeding.
- If you are interested in joining WABA you can do so as an Affiliate and as a Partner. Individuals and organisations can apply to become Affiliates. Organisations can also become partners.
- As an affiliate you will:
- Be part of a global breastfeeding network
- Increase the visibility of your organisation
- Receive regular information and updates
- Upgrade your knowledge and skills through continuing education
- Be eligible to nominate board members
- Enjoy discounts for events, trainings and publications
- Affiliates will be required to endorse the General Principles of WABA. Affiliates will be required to submit an application form and to pay annual dues. Your dues will be based on the World Bank’s classification of your country. For Organisational Affiliates you can also indicate in the same form if you want to sign up as a Partner of WABA.
- The WABA Rules of Engagement and the Frequently Asked Questions specify the details of the criteria, privileges, conditions and responsibilities of Affiliates and Partners.
If you are joining for the first time, you will receive 12 months of membership. If you are renewing, 12 months will be added to your current membership.
