The World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action (WABA) is a global network of individuals
& organisations concerned with the protection, promotion & support of breastfeeding worldwide.
WABA action is based on the Innocenti Declaration, the Ten Links for Nurturing the Future and the
Global Strategy for Infant & Young Child Feeding. WABA is in consultative status with UNICEF & an NGO
in Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations (ECOSOC).

Directory of Organisations

The WABA Secretariat in partnership and with the support of UNICEF, is compiling a directory of organisations and institutions involved in the protection, promotion and support of breastfeeding.

Aims

The aim of this Directory is to make available updated information about organisations, their activities, areas of interest and services provided in order to facilitate the networking ability and linking of groups for the protection, promotion and support of breastfeeding.

Participants

The organisations listed in the Directory of Organisations will have the protection, promotion and support of breastfeeding as its primary role and activity. 

Access

We plan to post the Directory of Organisations on the Website to facilitate information sharing. This will be regularly updated.

If you wish to have your organisation listed in this inaugural edition of the Directory of Organisations please fill in the questionnaire and send it to the WABA Secretariat .
