The WABA International Workshop on “Breastfeeding, Women and Work: Human Rights and Creative Solutions”, organized by the WABA Women and Work Task Force and ARUGAAN, was held from June 1-5 1998 in Quezon City, the Philippines. Sixty participants from 22 countries developed this Declaration in working groups and plenary sessions.
