The World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action (WABA) is a global network of individuals
& organisations concerned with the protection, promotion & support of breastfeeding worldwide.
WABA action is based on the Innocenti Declaration, the Ten Links for Nurturing the Future and the
Global Strategy for Infant & Young Child Feeding. WABA is in consultative status with UNICEF & an NGO
in Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations (ECOSOC).

his complete guide to implementing the International Code of Marketing of Breastmilk Substitutes was developed as a teaching manual for the International Code Documentaion Centre (ICDC) Training Courses on Code implementation. It offers analysis of the Articles of the International Code, a history of events leading up to the Code and to other relevant WHA Resolutions, marketing techniques as they evolved since the Code was adopted and the ICDC Model Law. 

There is even a section with the full legislation, regulations or other relevant measures of 12 countries that have implemented the Code as well as the full text of the Code and relevant subsequent WHA resolutions.
